C. Duane Barclay, D.O.

Dr. Barclay received his undergraduate degree from Stanford University in California and attended medical school at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa, receiving his D.O. degree in 1976. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia and taught Family Medicine in the Army for three years following that. He is board certified in Family Medicine.


He has practiced at Emory at Stonecrest Primary Care, formerly Snapfinger Family Medicine, since 1983 when he joined the staff of DeKalb Medical. In addition to actively practicing family medicine Dr. Barclay has been a member of the Administration at DeKalb Medical since 1998 and currently serves as the Vice President of Medical Affairs and Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Barclay has been married to his wife, Robinette, for over 30 years. They have a son, Andrew, who is pursuing a Masters in Education at UGA, and a daughter, Katie, who is a practicing clinical psychologist. Dr. Barclay is actively involved in his church a has made mission trips to Honduras, Brazil and Haiti yearly since 1999.

Martin A. Dixon, D.O.

Dr. Dixon is a Kansas native who attended both undergraduate and graduate school at Pittsburg State University. He received his doctorate of osteopathy from Kansas City University of Medicine and Bioscience in 1981. Dr. Dixon completed his postgraduate medical training at Phoenix General Hospital in Arizona. Dr. Dixon is board certified in both family medicine and emergency medicine.


Dr. Dixon cares for patients who are 12 years and older. In addition to the usual scope of general medicine, Dr. Dixon’s major clinical interests include hypertension, diabetes and musculoskeletal disorders including those that require joint and trigger point injections. Dr. Dixon has been married to his wife, Leah, for 18 years. They have two children: Alex, 16 and Sarah, 12. The family enjoys their two dogs, outdoor activities and time at the beach.

Kristi N. Kinsey-Gotier, M.D.

Dr. Kinsey-Gotier is a native of Atlanta, GA. She earned her undergraduate degree at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1995. She attended medical school at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA and graduated in 2002. From there she entered the Air Force as a captain and began her residency at Keesler Air Force Base located in Biloxi, Mississippi. Due to Hurricane Katrina, she was transferred to Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Gordon, GA where she completed her residency in internal medicine. Dr. Kinsey-Gotier served as an Air Force staff physician for the next three years, attaining the rank of major before returning to her home state of Georgia in the fall of 2008. She practiced as a staff physician for Kaiser Permanente in Jonesboro, GA before coming to Emory at Stonecrest Primary Care.


Dr. Kinsey-Gotier specializes in treating complicated patients with hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol and chronic kidney disease, to name a few. She enjoys getting to know her patients. She is an advocate of preventive care. She is board certified in internal medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians/American Board of Internal Medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling and shopping. She is happily married with two sons.

Stephen Day, M.D.

Dr. Stephen Day has been with the group since 1999. Dr. Day took a one year sabbatical in the second half of 2010, hiking on the Appalachian Trail for three months, assisted his 87 year old mother with her knee replacement, and did volunteer work in Haiti.


Dr. Day is a Pennsylvania native. He received his undergraduate degree from Earlham College in Richmond, IN and attended medical school at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Day completed his residency training at the University of Connecticut and is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Day spent two years working in emergency medicine in Connecticut until moving to Atlanta, GA in 1993 to begin family practice.

Dr. Day enjoys helping patients understand their medical problems and integrate long term conditions into a healthier life.

Veronica D'Antignac, Nurse Practitioner

Veronica D’Antignac is a Family Nurse Practitioner with an array of clinical and leadership experience. She worked at Grady Health System for many years as a manager and NP in Primary Care and Asthma Allergy. Her most recent NP experience was at Rockdale Medical Center where she worked in a newly acquired practice for Primary and Urgent Care. She completed her post graduate studies at Brenau University in2000 with a MSN. 
She is married to DeAngelo Norris and they live in Conyers. They have four adult children and three grandchildren. Veronica enjoys family/friends gatherings, challenging games and puzzles, beekeeping and reading.
