Takki A. Momin, MD, FACS is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an American Board of Surgery Certified Vascular Surgeon. He completed his bachelor’s degree in chemistry with highest honors at The Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Momin received his doctorate in medicine from The Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, where he was a recipient of the Joseph B. Whitehead Foundation Scholarship. Dr. Momin completed General Surgery training at The Emory University School of Medicine Department of Surgery. His specialty training in Vascular & Endovascular Surgery was completed at The Georgetown University Hospital / Washington Hospital Center Department of Vascular Surgery in Washington DC.
Dr. Momin has presented research at national meetings, published numerous book chapters and journal articles on topics ranging from carotid disease to mesenteric ischemia. Dr. Momin was highlighted in the Atlanta Journal Constitution article, “A Night in the Trauma Unit: Fighting for Life at Grady.”
Dr. Momin is focused on the compassionate, meticulous care of his patients and offers the latest techniques in both open and endovascular surgery. In his spare time, he enjoys playing soccer and international travel.
Dr. Khan is a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) which helps him complement his clinical training/skills with non-invasive vascular ultrasound and provide his patients with individualized treatment plans that suit their needs. He has also received certifications in FLS, ACLS and ATLS. He is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery and a resident member of the American College of Surgeons.
His interests include endovascular and open repair of aortic ( thoracic/abdominal ) aneurysmal and occlusive disease, carotid artery disease, lower extremity revascularization with emphasis on limb salvage, mesenteric revascularization and vascular ultrasound. He is a dedicated surgeon with passion for his work and a commitment to provide the best care available to each patient he has the opportunity to treat.
He also enjoys a good game of soccer, volleyball, travelling and experiencing different cuisines.
DeKalb Medical Physicians Group Atlanta Vascular Surgery welcomes Kyle O’Donnell, PA-C, to its practice. O’Donnell joins Takki Momin, M.D., to provide care for patients with vascular disease. DMPG Atlanta Vascular Surgery employs a range of cutting-edge techniques when providing this care.
O’Donnell earned his registered physician license in September 2012 and previously worked as a spine physician assistant at Pinnacle Orthopedics in Buffalo, NY. He earned his master’s degree in physician assistant studies, his bachelor’s degree in biological sciences, and has an associate of science degree. O’Donnell is a professional member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Angie is a certified physician assistant with special medical interests that include various forms of treatments for varicose veins which include sclerotherapy, venous ablation and ligation of incompetent veins. She has a keen interest in minimally invasive surgical techniques. She also enjoys assisting with surgical procedures in the operating room. Angie is a professional member of the American Association of Surgical Physician Assistants and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
During her free time, Angie enjoys reading a good book, biking in the mountains and traveling around the world.
