Many sleep disorder patients in Atlanta have begun sleeping well after diagnosis and development of a sleep disorder treatment plan at Emory Decatur Hospital and Emory Hillandale Hospital’s Sleep Disorders Center. Our staff members’ experience and training enables them to excel at treating sleep disorders.
Sleep studies to diagnose the cause of sleep disorder patients’ sleeping problems are conducted seven days a week at the Center. Most studies are conducted from 9:30 a.m. to between 5 and 6 a.m. the following morning. Times for studies can be adjusted to reflect your normal sleep patterns if you work evening or night shifts, or to meet the requirements of the specific test ordered for you.
Our Sleep Disorders Center is also accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine as an Out of Center Home Sleep Testing facility and will perform home sleep testing when medically indicated.
Once the physician reads the results of your sleep study, a sleep disorder treatment plan will be developed to meet your specific needs.
The office is open from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday, to schedule appointments and answer questions about treating sleep disorders. The telephone number is 404.501.5927.
