Individualized Fitness Services (pay per service)
The DeKalb Medical Wellness Center offers many individual fitness services including:
Led by a licensed rehab therapist, this program is excellent for arthritis or fibromyalgia patients. Requires a physician's referral.
Need motivation? Guidance? Our Wellness Coaches are here for you. Clients identify, confront and overcome challenges, clarify boundaries, and achieve balance through powerful questioning delivered in a compassionate and light-hearted coaching style. This training can be used for individuals with chronic disease or disabilities that might be improved with exercise therapy.
After completing prescribed personal training programs for conditions such as cardiovascular disease, pulmonary disease, metabolic disease, orthopedic disease or disabilities, this training will assist individuals in continuing their rehabilitation with exercise management directed toward individual dysfunctions (Wellness Coach personal training can be conducted by certified Wellness Center staff only.)
FEE $50/60 min.; $35/30 min.
Discount package: $210/five 60-min. sessions; $150/five 30-min.sessions.

Have you always wanted to learn how to swim? Lessons are available to anyone over the age of 16.

These lessons are tailored to your specific needs and offered to anyone over the age of 16.

A fitness assessment is an assessment that helps your wellness coach determine your physical fitness level and aids in developing your personalized baseline program. The results can identify your strengths and weaknesses in relation to your physical fitness and help in setting attainable fitness goals.
A fitness assessment is a valuable tool used to establish baseline measurements and can be used to monitor your performance and assess your progress throughout your exercise training.
