Howard Krone, M.D.
If any physician knows Decatur and its community, it is Dr. Howard B. Krone, who’s practiced in the city since 1973. Dr. Krone works with his patients to thoroughly evaluate their condition and makes certain each understands his or her cause of pain before discussing medical treatment.
Dr. Krone is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and served in Emory University’s Orthopedic Residency Program and as Chief Orthopedic Resident at Grady Hospital. He also spent two years in the United States Air Force as a general surgeon.
The Atlanta resident is a fellow at the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and diplomat on the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons.
