Cancer support groups can make a difference!
A trained facilitator leads each group, and all discussions are confidential. The cancer survival groups are designed for our patients to provide them with information, coping skills, treatment reinforcements and a level of commitment that enables them to maximize their opportunities of cancer survival.
If you or someone you love has cancer, you are not alone! The cancer survival support groups at DeKalb Medical are full of compassionate, caring people who have walked in your shoes, as well as clinical professionals trained in helping cancer patients not only survive but thrive. Please join us and find out for yourself how helpful these cancer classes can be. If you are interested in learning more about one of these Atlanta cancer support groups in or joining other survivors at one of these meetings, call the Cancer Center at 404.501.5701.
