The DeKalb Medical Cancer Center support system provides healing, hope and strength through the lessons provided by patients with similar needs and concerns. Currently, we offer the following weekly cancer survival groups at no charge:
Open to men and women with all cancer types
Monday 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., Stubbs Auditorium or
Tuesday 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., Cancer Center
First Thursday of each month 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m., Hillandale Community Room - A support group for the men (spouses, significant others, male children) is also available at this time.
Monday 6 p.m.–7:30 p.m., Cancer Center
Tuesday 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., Stubbs Auditorium

Every Monday 6 p.m. - 7:15 p.m., Cancer Center Library

A trained facilitator leads each group, and all discussions are confidential. The cancer survival groups are designed for our patients to provide them with information, coping skills, treatment reinforcements and a level of commitment that enables them to maximize their opportunities of cancer survival.
