Registration Now Open for Summer Volunteen Program at DeKalb Medical

DeKalb Medical is now accepting applications for its Summer Volunteen Program. Registration closes on Friday, February 29, 2016. Registration is open to all teenagers aged 14 to 18 with at least one year of high school course work completed. About 20 new teens are accepted into the program each year.
The DeKalb Medical Volunteen program allows students to assist hospital staff in various departments throughout the organization’s campuses. The students also participate in Lunch-and-Learn events with medical professionals to learn about various jobs in the healthcare field.

About DeKalb Medical Foundation
The DeKalb Medical Foundation was established in 1990 for the purpose of raising funds for the direct support of capital projects, special programs and research activities conducted by DeKalb Medical in furtherance of the Foundation’s purpose.
