Dr. Harjee Scholarship Provides Thousands to Deserving High School Students
April 08, 2013
The DeKalb Medical Foundation is accepting applications for the Dr. Gulshan S. Harjee Scholarship Program from now until April 30, 2013.
Inspired by her dream to be a physician but having to overcome many difficulties, Dr. Harjee’s goal is to make it possible for someone else who has a dream of being in health care to have a chance to pursue his or her passion and find the kind of satisfaction that has so deeply enriched her life. The scholarship money will be given to deserving young men and women finishing high school who want the chance to pursue a career in an allied health care field.
In order to apply for a Harjee Scholarship, the student must fill out the attached application, answer the questions required, and be accepted into an approved program. This program will provide scholarships amounting to $1,500 payable to the school chosen by the recipient. The funds do not have to be re-paid if the program is completed.
