DeKalb Medical Names Susan Breslin Chief Nursing Officer

DeKalb Medical welcomes Susan E. Breslin, M.S.N., R.N., N.E.-B.C, the new Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Patient Care Services.
Breslin joins the organization with more than twenty years of nurse-leadership experience, and has served in the role as a Chief Nursing Officer since 1999. Since starting with DeKalb Medical, she has already made an impact in the patient care experience. Breslin is consistently visible to patients and she is working on new ideas to create a better work environment for the nursing staff. She has made it her goal to continue developing professional nurses, and delivering safe, quality, compassionate care to every patient at DeKalb Medical.
Health and wellness are important to Breslin, as she is an avid runner and enjoys outdoor activities such as boating, skiing and biking. Breslin earned her bachelor of nursing degree from George Mason University, her master of nursing degree from the University of Cincinnati and is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in nursing at the University of South Alabama.
