The DeKalb Medical Foundation offers members of the community several different ways to make a donation to support healthcare in our area. Each of the following giving opportunities provides public recognition of the gift, invitations to special events offered by the hospital and the Foundation, invitation to the hospital’s CEO roundtables and a recognition item for display.
You may make a donation to commemorate a special occasion, celebrate a recovery, recognize your favorite doctor or nurse, or acknowledge a death. Gifts of Tribute enable you to honor both the individual and life itself.
Each Gift of Tribute helps DeKalb Medical remain at the forefront of medical technology and services, and makes research and education programs possible.
Upon receipt of your Gift of Tribute, a letter will promptly be sent to your designated recipient, and you will receive acknowledgement as well.
Members of the Medallion Society are those special friends who contribute $100 or more annually to the DeKalb Medical Foundation. The Medallion Society is one of several fundraising activities organized by the Foundation’s Annual Support Committee.
What is required for membership? An annual contribution of $100 or more.
Members of the Founders’ Circle actively support the mission of DeKalb Medical and the DeKalb Medical Foundation. They accept the challenge of helping to maintain and enhance local health care services by making a single gift, or multi-year pledge of $10,000 or more. Gifts of $100k or more are often associated with naming opportunities and may include recognition in the Gallery of Heroes with a commissioned portrait.
Many individuals provide for the long-term support of DeKalb Medical through a will bequest, trust, charitable gift annuity, life insurance policy, or retirement account. We are pleased to speak with you or your professional advisors to help you design a giving plan that will best benefit you and DeKalb Medical.
More than 60 percent of our employees are members of the Employee Giving program. PEACH (Partnering Employees Actively Committed to Healthcare) is the voluntary giving program created for DeKalb Medical employees. To date, employees have raised over $3.3 million to provide support to the DeKalb Medical Foundation projects, internal grants and the Employee Disaster Relief Fund.
If you are a DeKalb Medical employee not currently involved in the PEACH program and you would like to be, contact Elisabeth Nark at 404.501.1344.
