24th Annual Charles B. Eberhart Memorial Golf Classic
The DeKalb Medical Foundation will host its 24th Annual Charles B. Eberhart Memorial Golf Classic on Monday, August 27, 2018 at the Atlanta Athletic Club in Johns Creek. Proceeds from this event will support improvements to the operating rooms at DeKalb Medical.
The tournament will offer one flight with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. The event is expected to sell out quickly.
This tournament will benefit DeKalb Medical’s surgical suite renovation project. Improvements to the O.R. will include new equipment, such as tables, monitors and updated lighting. This new environment will streamline surgical procedures, reduce wait times and provide our patients with quality care supported by the most advanced technology.
Dee Keeton, chair of the annual tournament, is grateful for the support of the many participants and sponsors, and would like to especially express her gratitude to those businesses and individuals that have participated each year.
“We are so grateful for our wonderfully committed sponsors, many of whom continue to support this important event year after year,” Keeton said. “This tournament is the one of the most significant fundraising opportunities for the DeKalb Medical family. We’re thankful for all our participants and sponsors who have chosen to make an impact to our patients and community.”
Scott D. Steinberg, MD, a DeKalb Medical surgeon who is a member of the Atlanta Athletic Club, said he is excited to participate in the tournament.
“It’s great that two of my passions—golf and DeKalb Medical—are coming together,” he said. “I’m looking forward to playing in this tournament and having the opportunity to make a positive impact for my patients.”
