Hip arthroscopy
Dr. Conduah is one of a select few surgeons in the area who perform hip arthroscopy. As hip disorders are being more accurately diagnosed, the need for minimally invasive surgical techniques for treatment of these conditions is increasing.
Hip arthroscopy is an advanced treatment method using fiber optic technology that allows a surgeon to view the inside of the hip joint with a tiny camera and treat hip injuries. This eliminates the need for traditional, open surgery, resulting in quicker recovery and more immediate mobility. He performs hip arthroscopy as well as other outpatient and inpatient procedures at both DeKalb Medical Hillandale and DeKalb Medical Center.
