Dr. Corkran received his doctor of osteopathic medicine at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, WV, and performed his post-graduate internship at HCA Doctors Hospital in Tucker, GA. A member of the DeKalb Medical staff since 1990, he has also served as a member of the board of trustees for the DeKalb Physician Hospital Organization and a member of the board of trustees for the Osteopathic Institute of the South, for which he also serves as a preceptor for students. Dr. Corkran is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians.
Dr. Cabanas, D.O., received his doctor of osteopathic medicine at the Des Moines University School of Osteopathic Medicine & Surgery in Des Moines, IA, and completed his internship and family practice residency at Northlake Regional Medical Center in Tucker, GA. He was also an assistant clinical professor of family medicine for the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is a member of the Phi Delta Epsilon Medical Fraternity, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the Georgia Osteopathic Medical Association and the American Medical Association. Dr. Cabanas is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians.
Telicia received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from State University of West Georgia. Mrs. Scott is a nationally certified physician assistant and has been practicing for over 12 years. Shortly after receiving her undergraduate degree, she began work at Grady Health Systems in Atlanta, GA in the Teen Clinic as she took special interest in teen-centered healthcare. She worked alongside other healthcare professionals to provide health and lifestyle coaching that gave teens the opportunity to make informed and healthy decisions. She also served in the National Health Service Corp for 10 years while working at a community health center that serviced underserved populations. Mrs. Scott has a considerable amount of experience in treating patients with uncontrolled diabetes. Her other interest including preventative healthcare. Mrs. Scott welcomes all new patients and referrals.
