Welcome to the offices of Drs. Vera A. Reaves and J. William Budell. DeKalb Medical Physicians Group North Tucker Primary Care provides a wide range of services to meet your healthcare needs. Our goal is to provide high quality healthcare in a setting that fosters patient self-knowledge and self-awareness of their physical, mental and spiritual health. To achieve this goal, the practice will provide a positive and friendly environment in which our patients can seek medical care. North Tucker Primary Care was previously located at 2892 Mountain Industrial Blvd. Tucker, GA 30084.

Our practice is part of Atlanta’s DeKalb Medical network of healthcare services. This means that our patients are able to promptly obtain a full range of diagnostic tests, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI and ultrasound at any of the DeKalb Medical facilities that are most convenient. When urgent medical care by a specialist is necessary, we are able to facilitate appointments and referrals for our patients to one of the more than 775 physicians on the DeKalb Medical staff.

DeKalb Medical celebrates Baby Friendly designation and 5 STAR recognition
February 24, 2015

DeKalb Medical held a special luncheon on Monday at the Dr. M. Bobbie Bailey Tower to celebrate becoming the first hospital in Georgia to achieve international “Baby-Friendly” Hospital Initiative (BFHI) designation from Baby-Friendly USA, Inc. In addition to the “Baby-Friendly” designation, the hospital was also awarded a 5-STAR Hospital Recognition from the Georgia Department of Public Health.

DeKalb Medical to hold heartburn education seminar
February 16, 2015

In conjunction with National Heart Health Awareness Month, DeKalb Medical will hold an education seminar on Thursday, Feb. 19, at the DeKalb Medical Theatre to discuss heartburn causes, effects and solutions. The seminar is slated to begin at 6:30 p.m. and is open to the public.

The DeKalb Medical Foundation Announces Healthcare Scholarships Available for Employees and Teens
January 28, 2015
The DeKalb Medical Foundation is currently accepting applications for the Audrey & Jack Morgan and Dr. Gulshan S. Harjee Scholarship Programs. Application deadline for each scholarship is April 30, 2015.
