Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Susan Lee came to the United States from Korea when she was seven years old. She followed her mother's example when she graduated from Emory University School of Nursing with a bachelor of science in nursing.
After working as a nurse in the cardiology unit, Ms. Lee opted to go back to school, earning a master’s degree in nursing from Emory University. She specialized in family practice and became certified as a family practice nurse practitioner in 1995. Ms. Lee has been an integral part of Lithonia Primary Care since 1997.
A dedicated and hard-working nurse practitioner, Ms. Lee performs very detailed physical exams on her patients. She is prompt to respond to patient concerns and communicates test results as quickly as possible to reduce patient anxiety. Her patients' time is valuable to her, and she works hard to ensure that they are seen with little delay.
Having been with this practice for many years, Ms. Lee delights in being able to care for several members of the same family and watching children we take care of grow into adults and start having kids of their own. While she enjoys seeing her patients go through various stages of life, she particularly likes treating her teenage patients.
Ms. Lee is married and has two sons. In addition to working at Lithonia Primary Care and taking care of her family, she likes playing Bingo, Scrabble, and card games, and she reads at least two new books a month.
