Robert Monett, M.D.
Dr. Monett, a long time Decatur resident, is a board-certified family practice physician and has practiced in the Decatur area for over 15 years. Educated at the University of Pennsylvania, with a medical degree from the University of Cincinnati, Dr. Monett completed his residency at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Affiliated Hospitals. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice, Georgia Academy of Family Practice and Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
Dr. Monett enjoys caring for patients of all ages and is especially interested in preventive care. Same day or next day appointments are available for acute illnesses, and Dr. Monett provides 7:00 a.m. appointments on the third Wednesday of every month. An avid tennis enthusiast, Dr. Monett and his family reside in the Decatur area. DeKalb Medical Physicians Group Downtown Decatur Family Medicine and Dr. Monett are affiliated with DeKalb Medical.
Anna Steinberg, M.D.
Dr. Steinberg is a board-certified internal medicine physician. She obtained her medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine and completed her residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. Previously affiliated with Emory University as an assistant professor, she joined the DeKalb Physicians Group at Sage Hill Internal Medicine in 2007. In 2010, she moved to DeKalb Medical Physicians Group Downtown Decatur Family Medicine to centrally locate her practice in the DeKalb area.
Dr Steinberg treats patients 17 years of age and older. She is especially interested in preventive care for men and women, and women’s health issues. She is available for appointments Monday through Friday from 8:15 a.m. until early afternoon.

Lekeshia Jarrett, M.D.
Dr. Jarrett is a board-certified family medicine physician. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine and completed her residency at the University of South Alabama. Previously an assistant professor of family practice at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine, she also has been affiliated with Atlanta Medical Center as a faculty physician and an assistant clinical professor of Family Medicine at Mercer University.
Most recently, she practiced family medicine at Grady Health System and was an Emory University Adjunct Professor. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Association, Society of Teachers of Family Medicine and National Medical Association. Dr, Jarrett enjoys treating patients of all ages and is especially interested in preventive care. She is available for appointments Monday through Friday. Chris Knox, PA-C
Chris Knox is a certified physician assistant with a Master's degree in medical science from Emory University. She completed her undergraduate studies in history at Davidson College in North Carolina, and after several years in college administration decided to embark on a career in medicine. Chris is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Georgia Academy of Physician Assistants. She also continues to stay involved with Emory's Physician Assistant program as a member of the admissions committee and an alumni class representative.
Chris enjoys caring for patients of all ages and has significant experience in family medicine, urgent care, and orthopedics. She has a particular interest in preventive medicine and counseling patients in making lifestyle changes that will impact their health in a positive manner. Chris's personal interest in nutrition and exercise science have helped her to assist patients in weight loss efforts, as well as improving their diabetes and hypertension through diet and exercise. In addition, her experience in urgent care makes her well-suited to handle patients' acute illnesses and injuries.
