Our Providers Christopher Haraszti, M.D. Dr. Christopher Haraszti M.D. is an orthopedic surgeon who is committed to providing skilled and compassionate care to his patients. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and specializes in sports medicine, as well as hip and knee replacement surgery. Utilizing state of the art technologies, he has dedicated himself to the development of methods to decrease postoperative pain and speed the recovery process. An accomplished musician and Atlanta native, Dr. Haraszti earned both his college and medical degrees from Emory University. He obtained training in orthopedics at Tulane University in New Orleans where he completed his residency. While at Tulane, he sharpened his orthopedic trauma skills at Charity Hospital, one of the busiest emergency rooms in the country. Dr. Haraszti also served as a chief resident in orthopedics at Tulane where he provided care following Hurricane Katrina and contributed to the city’s renewal. Nationally ranked in the sport of Jiu-Jitsu and submission grappling, Dr. Haraszti has been the doctor for several professional fighters and is uniquely qualified to treat athletes as well. Robert S. Bachner, M.D. Dr. Robert Bachner is an orthopedic physician who received his board certification from the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He received his medical degree from Cornell University and completed a fellowship at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Bachner specializes in all things joint including: the arm, elbow, foot and ankle, hand and wrist, hip, knee, lower back, neck, shoulder and spine. He enjoys establishing a relationship with his patients and taking the time to listen to their concerns and finds that it is most important to educate patients about their conditions, what the treatment options are, and help them decide what treatment is best for them. It is important to approach each patient individual and provide a treatment plan tailored for each person. Paul F. Richin, M.D. Dr. Paul Richin is an orthopedic physician who received his board certification from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He completed his medical degree from Georgetown University Medical School in Washington DC and prior to that he received an undergraduate degree from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA. Dr. Richin is a member of the State Medical Society and State Orthopedic Society. He specializes in various conditions and treatments of the knee and hip as well as sports medicine. Augustine Conduah, M.D. (Podcasts Available: Knee Arthroscopy And Rotator Cuff Injury) Dr. Conduah is a member of the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He completed his fellowship in sports medicine at the Hughston Clinic in Columbus, GA, a world leader in orthopedic and sports medicine research, education and treatment. He is a member of The Hughston Society, a group orthopedic surgeons and other physicians who are bound by a genuine concern for athletes and a desire to help them return to competition injury free in the shortest amount of time. Prior to becoming a Hughston fellow, Dr. Conduah completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). He earned a Doctor of Medicine from UCLA as well at the David Geffen School of Medicine, where he was named a Leonard Marmor Foundation scholar and received a Letter of Distinction in Surgery Clerkship. When Dr. Conduah isn’t in the operating room performing knee replacement surgery or reconstructing torn anterior cruciate ligaments (ACL) or seeing patients in his office, he’s out serving in the community. Whether it’s educating weekend warriors or those suffering from arthritis, Dr. Conduah routinely presents community seminars to inform people on the latest advances in pain management, and injury prevention and treatment. He is the team physician for the athletics department of Arabia Mountain High School in Lithonia, GA. Dr. Conduah lives in Sandy Springs with his wife and three children. Elizabeth Berlin, PA Elizabeth attended the University of Kentucky where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Biotechnology. She then completed her graduate education at Mercer University where she earned a Master of Physician Sciences Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Elizabeth is board certified by The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA PA-C) and the state of Georgia. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants and Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery. Elizabeth has also received certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) in 2010 and Advanced Life Support for Obstetrics (ALSO) in 2011. Similar to Dr. Conduah, Elizabeth enjoys serving the community and can often be seen with Dr. Conduah at Arabia Mt. High School serving as the football team's physician assistant. She believes in treating patients with kindness and respect and making sure individual attention is provided to each patient. Elizabeth lives in Atlanta with her husband and two rescue dogs.
