DeKalb Medical Physicians Group Atlanta Women’s Cancer Care is under the direction of R. Allen Lawhead, M.D., and our goal is to cure each patient and help them maintain the highest quality of life. We achieve this goal through a unique focus on the clinical care and service for each patient following the golden rule of medicine: “to care for patients as we would care for ourselves and families.”

Our vision is to promote healing and cure through a positive approach with multidisciplinary team care that includes the patient as a member of the care team. We offer a full range of gynecologic oncology services that include preventive strategies, advanced diagnostics and a wide range of treatment options.

Our main emphasis is on evaluating and treating patients with primary and advanced or recurrent gynecological malignancies. We keep our goals of cure and optimal quality of life in mind as we work with the patient in our patient-centered multidisciplinary team approach to care.
