Nutrition Consult
Sign up for a Nutrition Consult with Antonio and receive:
• A personalized tailored meal plan which, if needed, can address the dietary needs of all your medical needs in one concise manageable healthy meal plan. Topics can include weight loss, insulin resistance, hypertension, high cholesterol, vegetarian, food intolerances/allergies, irritable bowel syndrome, polycystic ovarian syndrome, pregnancy, sports nutrition, and more.
• A personalized nutrition information packet that includes science based nutrition information to answer all your nutrition questions, plus an example of a healthy meal plan with strategic tips on how to follow guidelines.
Fee: One-hour consult: $55; half-hour consult: $30; 15-minute check-in (for long-term clients): $15. Wellness Center member discount: one-hour consult $35; half-hour consult $20; 15 minute check-in (for long term clients) $8.

Personal Nutrition Coach
Let Antonio help you reach your weight-loss goals. Your individually tailored coaching sessions will include:
• evidence-based nutrition information on weight loss specific to your needs
• lifestyle strategies that promote weight loss and maintenance of the weight lost
• motivation and accountability
Coaching consists of one one-hour nutrition consult plus four half-hour consults.

Grocery Store Tour
Get hands-on nutrition education with a personalized grocery tour. You’ll spend one hour at a local grocery store with Antonio who will help you select the best food products and provide up-to-the-minute nutrition information. You will learn how to read nutrition labels for your specific nutrition requirements and how to easily comparison shop. You will also receive an information packet containing shopping tips and evidence-based nutrition information.

DeKalb Medical has many nutrition resources to serve you. In addition to the Wellness Center, DeKalb Medical’s Nutrition Services provides outpatient nutrition services. Contact them at 404.501.5611.
Oncology/cancer survivors are referred to the outpatient Registered Dietitian specializing in oncology nutrition at 404.501.7520.
Anyone newly diagnosed with diabetes or experiencing uncontrolled diabetes is referred to our certified diabetes educator Lynn Leo, R.D., L.D., C.D.E. at 404.501.5398.
Anyone seeking bariatric nutrition services is referred to our Registered Dietitian Stacy Smith M.S., R.D., L. D. who specializes in bariatric nutrition. You may contact her at 404.501.7818. Patients must first attend a free weight loss seminar and meet with a bariatric surgeon. To register for the free seminar please call 404.501.LOSE.
Fitness Pathway
Antonio works with our fitness and wellness experts to design a program specifically for you. the Pathway includes two hours of consultation with a registered dietitian, two hours with an exercise physiologist and one hour with a Wellness Center specialist.
