This is a very exciting time to be involved with The Wellness Center in Atlanta. Since we opened in 1985, I have never seen so much going on at one time. From Internet resources to new classes to member success stories, The Wellness Center is vibrant with positive energy.
First, I want to welcome you to our newly revised website! The Wellness Center is honored to be included in the first phase of upgrades on the DeKalb Medical site. What does that mean for you? More of everything! There are more online resources to help you get fit and stay healthy (check out the new sections under For Your Information) and an entirely new nutrition section. Want to make a comment anonymously? Want to see our massage therapists and personal trainers before you make an appointment? Go to Staff and roll over staff member names to see their picture, credentials and philosophy of care. There’s a lot here for you.
In other news, our classes and services have never been more varied and popular. We have recently added morning yoga and beginner’s Pilates classes to our 50+ classes every week. And we have new lifestyle classes being added every quarter. We have more lifestyle classes and integrative therapy offerings (like meditation, reflexology, Tai Ji, healing touch and more) than any other facility in the Atlanta area. In addition to our facilities, classes and staff, our members make us who we are. And we couldn’t be prouder of them, especially those who have shared their intimate stories with us in the new Testimonials appearing throughout this site. Please take a few moments to read their inspiring stories.
