DeKalb Medical Center Governing Board Names New Member, Elects Officers

Decatur, Ga., (Aug. 23, 2004 ) – The governing board of the DeKalb Medical Center hospital system has elected new officers and added a new member. Joining the board is Peter Gordon, M.D., an ophthalmologist on the medical staff of DeKalb Medical Center and DeKalb Medical Center at Decatur.
The new officers of the DeKalb Regional Health System Board of Directors include H. Duane Blair, M.D., chairman; Oliver Lee, vice chairman; Judy McMahan, secretary; and Roy Vandiver, M.D., treasurer. The other board members include Terry Duis, Gulshan Harjee, M.D., William Hardcastle, M.D., David Jollay, Gregory Levett, DeKalb Medical Center CEO Eric Norwood, Don Smith and Dan Thompson.
DeKalb Medical Center is a not-for-profit hospital system that has been serving the community since 1961.
