Open House Kicks Off New Sports Medicine and Radiology Offices
Lithonia, GA – (August 20, 2010) DeKalb Medical Physicians celebrate the launch of two new offices at Stonecrest with an open house on Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The event, which is open to the public, marks the addition of both an orthopedics and sports medicine clinic and an outpatient radiology facility to the Lithonia community. During the open house, attendees will tour the offices and meet the staff.
Located at 8225 Mall Parkway, Suite 150, Lithonia, Ga. -- across from the
Mall at Stonecrest – the orthopedics and sports medicine practice is home to Board-certified orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist,
Dr. Augustine H. Conduah, who is also the team physician for the athletics department at
Arabia Mountain High School. Dr. Conduah offers treatment for all types of musculoskeletal issues and patients can receive care ranging from sports physicals to thorough second opinions, as well as shoulder and knee
arthroscopy which are minimally-invasive, outpatient procedures that eliminate the need for traditional, open surgery.
Adjacent to Dr. Conduah's office, DeKalb Medical Imaging at Stonecrest, Suite 160, offers added convenience for patients who need X-rays. This center's all-digital equipment provides same-day test results, allowing for quicker diagnosis and treatment than traditional radiology equipment which takes several days to process a patient's X-rays. The Imaging center is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Mondays and Fridays, and 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
